Q: WILL MY SKIN LOOK ORANGE AFTER USING VERSASPA?
A: No. The VersaSpa system is one of the best spray tan systems to date. Thanks to revolutionized advanced science, VersaSpa gives you a combination of few natural bronzers DHA(bronzer), Walnut Extracts and Erythrulose to give you a more deeper, richer colour. This combination of bronzers gives you a more golden colour, whereas only DHA on the skin gives more of a red/orange colour. Drug store or discount store self-tanning creams/sprays and older spray-tan booths give only DHA, that is why they give more of a orange colour. VersaSpa gives you perfect professional results with professional skin care to make you look your very best!
Q: HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY VERSASPA SESSION?
A: Arrive showered, shaven, free of make-up, perfume, body sprays, deodorant and moisturizer for optimal results. It is best to wear dark under garments and clothing, also loose fitted is best. The VersaSpa session lasts about 10-15 minutes with prep, bronzer and post moisturizer treatments.
Q: SHOULD I MOISTURIZE BEFORE I VERSASPA?
A: You should use a moisturizer regularly to keep your skin healthy and hydrated, which will contribute to a more even, natural looking sunless tan. However, it is recommended NOT to apply moisturizers 3 hours prior to your spray tan and 4-6 hours after. If you use a moisturizer, it is best to use a light water-soluble moisturizer. A moisturizer applied immediately prior to your Spray tan could interfere with the absorption and reaction of DHA (the active self tanning ingredient) with your skin, unless you use AMPLIFIER PREP GEL by VesaSpa.
A moisturizer applied immediately after your session could cause streaking and also interfere with the reaction of DHA. Only salon approved moisturizer should be used, such as Daily peformance lotion by VersaSpa. This unique tan-extending moisturizer has light bronzers to enhance and maintain your sunless results longer. It is also available in Shimmer, which gives your skin a sexy sparkle that will have you looking and feeling like a star.
Q: HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT AFTER I VERSASPA BEFORE I SHOWER?
A: It is best to wait at least 4-6 hours after the sunless tan before you shower to give the DHA time to fully react with skin proteins. If you can wait longer, you will only see better results.
Q: WILL THE SOLUTION FROM THE VERSASPA COME OFF ON MY CLOTHES?
A: Some of the immediate "natural bronze tint" may rub off on your clothes only immediately after your session. This is because the skin cannot absorb all of the natural tint, especially in certain areas where it tends to be more sweaty or oily. Once you take your shower this will all even out and blend in with the rest of your skin tone. It is best to moisturize with the specially formulated VersaSpa moisturizer to keep your colour more even and longer lasting. If it did go on your clothes this will wash out with cold water, because the bronzer is water-soluble.
Q: HOW LONG WILL MY VERSASPA RESULTS LAST?
A: The longevity of a VersaSpa Sunless tan depends on the skin's natural exfoliation process, and on the skin regimen followed before and after application. Since, VersaSpa gives you a Hydrating Treatment as part of your session, you will see longer lasting results with VersaSpa than any other Spray Tan out there. Your results can last up to 10 days. If you use VersaSpa Daily Performance Lotion, it will extend your results even longer. The "life span" of a VersaSpa sunless tan really depends on your skin's natural exfoliation. The faster your skin regenerates, the faster the sunless tan will fade. The tan created by the DHA and Erythrulose affects only the top layer of the skin and will begin to fade gradually as the skin naturally begins to exfoliate, usually after a week.
Q: HOW FREQUENTLY DO YOU RECOMMEND I VERSASPA?
A: The frequency of VersaSpa sunless tanning application depends on your skin cell turn over and preference of color intensity. People with quickcell turn-overs may want to VersaSpa every 4 days to keep color fresh, while others may need to apply only once every 7-10 days.
Q: CAN I VERSASPA IN ADDITION TO A TANNING BED?
A: Absolutely! In fact, the VersaSpa Sunless tanning results are phenomenal over a nice base tan. If you want to combine both applications in a single visit, we recommend our Combo Tanning Special called a "Cocktail". We include a VersaSpa AMPLIFIER PREP GEL which is Scientifically formulated to enhance UV and Sunless tanning Treatments by balancing your bodys PH levels, hydrating skin and increasing absorption levels before your session.
